![]() Tyler Gray “I’m just like any other regular high school kid – just like to do a lot of things with my friends. Sometimes I like to tell people that I got my scars from a shark bite – girls love it when I tell them that. I think people should become a donor because it gives someone else their life back.” When Tyler Gray of Highpoint, N.C. picks up his golf club and spends a day on the green, there’s a new swing in his step. Tyler, a young man of 15, has moved forward from a bout with bone cancer. A successful bone transplant, which saved him from a leg amputation and prosthesis, has allowed him to feel like a regular teen again. When Tyler isn’t shooting for par on the links, he can be found working on his neighbors’ lawns and flowerbeds with an eye towards a future career in landscaping or hanging out with friends. |

day."
